We are seeking a Medical Billing and Payment Posting Specialist to add to our growing team of outstanding employees. Cascade Surgicenter is open Monday-Friday, providing the opportunity to have a work-life balance while being part of a care team focused on high quality care. A COVID-19 vaccination, or approved medical or religious exception, is required to work in healthcare in Oregon. This position is in-office only.
Responsibilities:
- Process medical insurance payments and post payments to patient accounts.
- Troubleshoot and reconcile discrepancies in payments.
Skills:
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as a high performing individual contributor
- Strong computer skills, proficient with MS Suite
- Excellent communication and organization skills required
- Medical insurance knowledge and prior experience within a medical office are a plus
- Strong math and problem solving skills.
